Chloe Patterson is excited to embark on her eighth year at Brent. Originally from Michigan, Chloe moved to Washington, D.C. in 2007 to attend the George Washington University. After graduation, Chloe began working at Brent as an instructional assistant while attending Trinity Washington University. She holds a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Education. Chloe spent three years teaching second grade, then decided to focus more on following her passion for working with students with learning differences. She returned to the George Washington University and holds a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. After teaching special education at Brent for the past two years, Chloe is excited to teach first grade!
Chloe lives in Navy Yard and loves spending time at Yards Park. She also coaches the Girls on the Run team at Brent. This year Chloe is looking forward to collaborating with the first grade teaching team and developing relationships with the first grade families. Cheers to a great year!
