SECOND GRADE-LEAD TEACHER: CHLOE PATTERSON
Chloe Patterson is excited to embark on her seventh year at Brent. Originally from Michigan, Chloe moved to Washington, D.C. in 2007 to attend the George Washington University. After graduation, Chloe began working at Brent as an instructional assistant while attending Trinity Washington University. She holds a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Education. After teaching second grade at Brent for three years, Chloe decided to focus more on developing her passion for working with students with learning differences. She returned to the George Washington University and holds a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Chloe lives in Navy Yard and loves spending time at Yards Park. She also coaches the Girls on the Run team at Brent. During her free time, Chloe enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, and all things pop culture. This year Chloe is looking forward to collaborating with teachers and families to promote an environment of inclusion.
