FIFTH GRADE-LEAD TEACHER: SARA SAXTON
About
Sara Saxton is excited to be a part of the Brent community! This will be Ms. Saxton’s 12th year of teaching and her 9th year of teaching 5th grade. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from George Washington University, her master of arts in teaching from Simmons College, and is currently pursuing her master’s in special education from Lesley University. Ms. Saxton started her career teaching math in Guyana. She then taught in Massachusetts, Virginia, and has just returned from teaching in Nairobi, Kenya. When she is not teaching, Ms. Saxton loves to spend time with her husband, Matt, their two children, Anna and Kellan, and their sweet dog, Ginger. Ms. Saxton likes to pet her cat, Cereal, but Cereal doesn’t always like it back. Ms. Saxton also loves taking trips to the beach, traveling to new places, listening to funny stories from her children, and being outside in the fresh air doing just about anything. She is looking forward to getting to know all the members of the Brent community! |
